Bio
Mark Burnham is a sci-fi, horror and humor author living in Bend, Oregon. His story “Helter Smelter” was published in issue 012 of Dark Matter, his first pro publication. While completing a bachelor’s degree at UCLA he won the Shirle Dorothy Robbins Fiction Award. Mark is a longtime musician and is the bassist of the rock band Bad Bad Blood. He once played guitar on stage with Green Day in San Francisco, a story which cannot be told properly within the confines of this bio. Common themes in Mark’s work include corporate greed, ambition, parental insanity, death and friendship.
